Preparation:
- Wear loose, comfortable shirt or clothing. Drink plenty of water before scanning.
Aim:
- To help evaluate disorder of testiscles, tumors of testis, scrotal swelling, scrotal heaviness or pain, epididymal cyst, inguinal swelling, and also to look for causes of male infertility.
- Suitable for men who are above 50 years of age when prostate cancer is common. Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer and the second leading cause of cancer death in men.
